Palmer Home is Seeking Mission-Focused, Servant Minded Houseparents
Are you called to serve the vulnerable? Do you have a special place in your heart for children in need? Do you long to serve God’s children through love, service, and family?
If these questions resonate with you, we ask you to place these things before the Lord and to consider whether or not you and your spouse may be called to serve as a houseparent in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
Houseparents at Palmer Home care for children in a residential setting and use a professional, team-oriented, trauma-informed approach to provide a safe, healing, home-like environment. Houseparents manage homes of eight to ten children and support our Whole Child Initiative nurturing each child educationally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
It takes a village, and at Palmer Home, our village includes case managers, mentors, trauma-informed educators, and the resources each child needs to thrive, including access to therapists or tutors. Being a houseparent with Palmer Home means you are never on your own and have an opportunity to be part of a team of individuals working to care for each and every child.
