Hope Grows Garden

For more than 125 years, Palmer Home for Children has provided superior care for children while introducing the love of God through service to each individual child. Palmer Home ensures restorative environments where children feel safe, connected and supported through campus care, foster care, transitional care and family care service lines.

Complete with fruit trees, herbs and flowers, butterfly gardens, a gazebo, trellis, benches, and Adirondack chairs, the Hope Grows Garden offers a space to cultivate beauty, growth, and resilience.

The Healing Power of Nature

Nature therapy has been shown to reduce anxiety, boost self-esteem, improve mood, and can promote overall health and well-being. The Hope Grows Garden and Hope Works Garden Program offer restoration and healing for the children and teens in our care.

Because of you, their future is bright.

From full-time positions to volunteer roles, your service can make a difference for children and families who urgently need help.
