These children are now in a safe, warm home thanks to your support.

November 3, 2022

This Thanksgiving, six brothers and sisters will gather around the table together at Palmer Home. Keeping siblings together has always been part of our identity, but this group is especially unique. Within hours of being referred to Palmer Home on a Friday night, through the responsiveness, hard work and adaptability of our team, they were getting settled into a home on our campus.

Your gifts are the reason these children are now in a safe, warm home, excitedly awaiting the fun-filled feast they’ve heard Thanksgiving is at Palmer Home. Your gifts are the reason we can employ dedicated staff and caregivers who work around the clock to bring children out of crisis. Your gifts are the reason these children have received the medical care, counseling, tutoring and other resources they urgently needed. Will you consider giving today so we can continue to care for these children and the many others who will need Palmer Home in the year ahead?

Last year we were blessed to serve more than 250 children. This year, we are poised to serve even more. Many, like the children mentioned above, come to Palmer Home with their brothers and sisters. It’s something that differentiates Palmer Home from other care settings – we believe that when a child’s world has been turned upside down, having their siblings with them provides profound security. But we couldn’t operate this way without your gifts. As a privately funded organization, we need our supporters’ help to carry out our mission. Simply said, we need your help this Thanksgiving to help us provide for the children in our care.

As you prepare to spend time with friends and family this holiday season, I humbly ask that you consider making a gift to help a child at Palmer Home. No amount is too small, and every dollar makes a real-world difference in the life of a child.

Your gifts are what allow children to walk from chaos into stability on a Saturday morning, stay with their siblings, and experience the loving care and typical childhood – Thanksgiving dinner included – all children deserve.

Thank you for considering making a gift to support a child at Palmer Home. Your help is their hope.

Make a donation here.

Sincerely,
