13th Annual Shotguns & Sunflowers Soiree Raises More Than $350K for Children in Need with Generous Support from Simmons Bank

In part due to the generosity of Mid-South based Simmons Bank, the 13th Annual Shotguns & Sunflowers Soiree raised a record total through donations, tickets, sponsorships, silent auction, and an exhilarating live auction.

The event took place on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the historic Memphis Hunt and Polo Club located in the heart of East Memphis thanks to the generous support of hosts Mike and Amelia Bailey.

Sponsors and ticket holders enjoyed a Southern inspired, Garden and Gun-themed menu and mixer featuring a bourbon pull and a presentation by Palmer Home’s President & CEO Drake Bassett as well as Campus Care Director Matt Harrison.

Since its inception in 2010, the Shotguns & Sunflowers Soiree and Clay Shoot annual event has raised more than $2 million for Palmer Home’s mission while becoming one of the most anticipated events in the Memphis area.
