Executive Assistant to the President/CEO

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our President/CEO. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle administrative duties, coordinate projects, and ensure efficient operations of the office while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected Hours: No more than 29 per week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to President/CEO, including managing schedules and appointments
- Transcribe meeting notes and prepare documents with high attention to detail
- Proofread and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and professionalism
- Greet visitors and determine whether they need to be given access to President/CEO
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including venue selection, catering, and technology setup
- Assist with project coordination by tracking deadlines, deliverables, and team communications
- Utilize Microsoft Sharepoint for document creation, data management, and collaborative projects
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documentation is up to date
Qualifications
- Experience in Administrative assistance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in office management practices and procedures
- Strong transcription skills with the ability to capture detailed notes accurately
- Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in event planning with the capability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Sharepoint, and both Apple and Windows products
- Knowledge of project coordination techniques and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to Christ and to living a Christian lifestyle, consistent with the mission of Palmer Home for Children
