Palmer Home Thrift Stores make it easy for customers to find gently used furniture, clothing, and many other items at great values.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the greater Mississippi community, Palmer Home Thrift Stores help support the children in our care. All profits from the thrift stores go toward programs that benefit Palmer Home children.

Volunteer shifts are available at all thrift store locations. If you are interested in volunteering, schedule your shift here.

Donate Items

We gladly accept donations of gently used items. Collection drives or yard sales are great ways to contribute to Palmer Home’s mission! You may drop off donations at any thrift store location.

We are grateful for all donated items. However, we cannot accept the following:

- Stained or soiled items
- Old or non-working electronics
- Non-working appliances
- Pianos or pool tables
- Used mattresses
- Computers or CRT monitors
- Console TVs
- Baby beds, car seats or mattress foundations

How Can Your Church Get Involved?

By participating in this partnership, your church gains a practical plan to care for those in need. Corners of Your Field puts resources, including gift cards to Palmer Home Thrift Stores, in your hands from the start, and many churches use those cards as part of their existing benevolence ministries. We want to equip you to make a difference in your community as you know its needs best.

HOW DOES THE CHURCH PARTNERSHIP WORK?

The partnership involves a few simple steps.
1. Church members donate gently used items.
2. When they donate, the Palmer Home Thrift Store employee will ask for the name of the donor’s church.
3. Your church receives gift cards quarterly.
4. Donors can take advantage of tax deductions with every gift they make to Palmer Home Thrift Stores.

HOW DO I GET MY CHURCH INVOLVED?

Contact a Palmer Thrift Store representative. You’ll be able to ask any additional questions you may have and set your church up to receive credit for your congregation’s donations.
