Position Summary
Location
Remote with a preferred home base in DeSoto County, MS with frequent visits to campus located in Hernando, MS. Occasional travel to in-house events throughout Mississippi and Tennessee.
Position
Reporting to the Vice-President of Development, with support to the Marketing Team and Finance team, the Engagement Services Manager will maintain clerical functions for the VP of Development, Development Team, Marketing Team (i.e. Engagement Team), and Finance Team as directed to ensure efficient operation of the office, databases, stewardship efforts and donor management.
Responsibilities
- Manage all databases and donor software platforms, importing and exporting reports, prospect assignments, data clean up etc.
- Manage quarterly tax letters to be reviewed by the finance and engagement team
- Assist the finance team as directed by the VP of Development when applies to engagement team efforts and donor CRM management
- Serve as primary on-campus resource for engagement staff
- Serve as office manager for engagement staff needs including the ordering and organization of office, inventory and shipments of donor and marketing collateral and promotional supplies, etc.
- Assist VP of Development with travel and calendar support
- Prepare and submit monthly department expense reports and invoice payments
- Ensure execution of donor stewardship plan
- Assist with preparation, execution and follow up for all events
- Organize, attend and prepare for meetings
- Perform general office duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience as an Office Manager
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on organization and efficiency
- Proficiency in a donor CRM, such as Bloomerang or Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple and Windows products. Willingness to learn unfamiliar computer applications
- Strong organizational skills
