From Heartbreak to Hope: Michael’s Journey to a Brighter Future

Michael came to Palmer Home in 2019. He was 14 years old when he learned that his mother had a terminal illness and could no longer care for him. While at Palmer Home, Michael excelled in home life and the classroom. We found that not only did he have a great sense of humor, but he was also hard-working.

Today, having received several awards and scholarships, Michael is a Junior in college with plans to graduate and eventually attend culinary school.
