Why We Are Building

Palmer Home for Children has a multi-year plan for strategic growth to serve more children on our campus. The Wellness Center will be our largest gathering space for group and individualized activities as well as an event space to engage the public without compromising the privacy of our children.

Why We Need Funding

Palmer Home is 100 percent privately funded. Most donations go towards operational expenses. Your tax-deductible gift to the Wellness Center goes directly toward construction so that we don’t tap into other revenue streams.

Who Was Dr. Hugh Francis, Jr.?

Dr. Francis was a faithful friend and servant to Palmer Home for Children. His personal commitment to the scriptural mandate to care for children led him to Palmer Home in 1968. The Wellness Center will honor his legacy of providing care for children who needed hope and a place to call home.
