6th Annual Panther Creek Ranch Dove Hunt
An evening of great food, live music, and a premier silent auction
Hernando, MS – Kirby and Glenn Floyd invite the Memphis and surrounding Mid-South community to support the children of Palmer Home on Sunday, September 6, 2015 by attending “Shotguns & Sunflowers,” an evening of family friendly entertainment, southern cuisine, live music, and a premier silent auction following the 6th Annual Panther Creek Ranch Dove Hunt. All proceeds benefit the ministries of Palmer Home for Children, a safe harbor for children who need a home and a family.
“Shotguns and Sunflowers” begins at 6:30 p.m. at Panther Creek Ranch in Hernando, MS. Tickets are on sale for $100.00 per person and $40.00 for children under 13 years of age and can be found through the events page at www.palmerhome.org/dovehunt.
“The Shotguns & Sunflowers party, combined with our annual Dove Hunt, is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the mission of Palmer Home. This event helps raise the necessary funds to provide for the children in their care who come from various backgrounds -whether it is abandonment, neglect or abuse. Despite their situation, these ‘Modern Orphans’ have arrived to Palmer Home broken and every sponsor, volunteer and attendee supports one mission – to Make Lives Whole,” says Kirby Floyd, event host.
Attendees can expect an evening of live music by Wolf River Rednecks, one of Memphis’ most popular bands. The silent auction features a variety of items that appeal to all including tickets to the sold out Daryl Hall and John Oates concert at Live at the Garden, multiple concert packages to artists performing at Snowden Grove, a private day of guided fishing, and much more! Alongside the silent auction and live music for the adult crowd, there will be activities for the kids including a bounce house and slide, and an outdoor movie on the big screen complete with popcorn, cotton candy and a s’mores station!
