October 23, 2014

#FRIDAYFEATURE

Happy Friday!

The end of the week brings you another #FridayFeature. This week, we’re highlighting one of our caregivers, Debbie. We strive to be a transparent organization and want you to know who is behind the ministry you serve and support with your time, prayers, and finances!

Debbie Wray

Role: Caregiver
From: Kansas

How did you first hear about Palmer Home? Why did you decide to apply?

I saw an ad in the Baptist Record for caregivers. I didn’t need a job, but I loved the idea of loving on and serving the children at Palmer Home.

What is a typical workday like for you?

It’s pretty typical of most stay-at-home moms. But I’m also in charge of teaching a couple of the girls how to be a good mother to their own children.

What is your favorite color?

Blue.

What inspires you?

The unconditional love of Jesus Christ and the desire to be as much like Him as humanly possible. I fail every day, but I start each day trying again!

What do you like on your pizza?

I like Supreme Pizza!

#FridayFeature is a series designed to share information about who is behind-the-scenes at Palmer Home For Children and Jonah’s Journey. Thank you for your support of these ministries. You are changing lives and we are eternally grateful.
