KIDS SAY...EVERYTHING!
A collection of clever and funny sayings by Palmer Home children

From Tim Potter, the Housedad in Brotherhood Cottage: My niece and her daughter came for a visit today, and I was trying to explain to 4 year old Cami how they were related to me. I said, “This is my niece, and this is my niece.” Cami looked up at me and said, “They both have the same name?”

Also from Tim Potter, the Housedad in Brotherhood Cottage: We were preparing tacos for the children, and I was asking each child what they wanted on their tacos. When I got to Levi, I asked, “Okay, Levi, how do you like YOUR tacos?” Levi replied, “I like ‘em GOOD.”

Phillip 9, and John 12, from Buchanan cottage were talking to their houseparents about an article of clothing they saw someone wearing. The houseparents explained to them how that particular dress was popular in the ’80’s. Phillip looked at Ms. Jessica, the "twenty something" housemom, with big eyes and said, “Wow..., that was a long time ago!” She said, “It wasn’t that long ago. That’s around the time when I was born.” “I know,” Phillip said with a grin, “THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!”
